Club Knockout Competitions (held during the summer months in the evenings)
Thistle Goblet - Better Ball Matchplay knockout competition contested over optional courses off the black tees - top team in the draw have choice of course (Old, New, Jubilee or Eden Courses).
Sandeman Cup - Foursomes Matchplay knockout contested over optional courses off the black tees - top team in the draw have choice of course (Old, New, Jubilee or Eden Courses).
Brown Cup - Singles Matchplay contested over the Eden Course from the black tees.
Castle Cup - Singles Matchplay contested over the Castle Course from the blue tees.
Seniors (over 60) Quaich - Singles Matchplay knockout contested over optional courses off the black tees - top team in the draw have choice of course (Old, New, Jubilee, Eden or Strathtyrum Courses).
Procedure for Booking Tee Times for Knockout Competitions
To book your tee time you can book in the normal way through the St Andrews Links website, app or phone. Alternatively, you can email reservations@standrews.com, and CC'ing thistle.secretary@gmail.com specifying the competition details, yours and your opponents names and links ticket numbers and your preferred course (if applicable) and time.
